TERMS OF SERVICE

Kijima Method – Terms of Service

Effective Date: 01/04/2026

Welcome to Kijima Method (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital content, mentoring sessions, training tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Services.

These Terms are incorporated by reference with the Kijima Method Mentorship Disclaimer, which forms an integral part of your agreement to use the Services.

Nature of Services

Kijima Method is an experience-based mentorship and personal development program, tailored primarily for soccer players and athletes. The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only, drawing from lived athletic experience.

The Services are not intended to replace or constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or healthcare services of any kind.

Participation in the Services is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk.

No Medical or Therapeutic Services

Kijima Method does not provide medical advice, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or clinical services. Kijima Method is not a licensed healthcare provider, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional.

Nothing provided through the Services should be interpreted as medical or mental health advice. Participants are encouraged to seek qualified licensed professionals for any medical, psychological, or therapeutic concerns.

Eligibility & Minors

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18.

Minors & Parental Consent

If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide informed consent prior to participation. By authorizing Services for a minor, the parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Kijima Method provides educational mentorship only

  • The Services are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic in nature

  • The minor’s participation is voluntary

  • The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Kijima Method from any claims arising out of the minor’s participation in the Services.

We reserve the right to verify age and parental consent at our discretion.

Payments, Pricing & Payment Plans

All fees for Services must be paid in accordance with the pricing and payment structure selected at checkout. This may include one-time payments, subscriptions, or installment-based payment plans.

Payments are securely processed through third-party platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, or Acuity Scheduling. Kijima Method does not store or manage payment details directly.

By enrolling in a payment plan, you authorize Kijima Method (or its payment processor) to automatically charge the agreed-upon installment amounts according to the selected schedule until the balance is paid in full.

Prices are subject to change at our discretion. Promotional pricing, discount codes, and packages may be offered for limited periods and may not be retroactively applied.

Failed or Missed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails, is declined, or is not received:

  • Services may be paused or suspended until payment is resolved

  • Continued non-payment may result in termination of Services

  • Outstanding balances remain due and payable

Failure to complete a payment plan does not release you from the obligation to pay the full agreed-upon amount.

Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

All purchases are final, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Refunds are not guaranteed and are considered solely at our discretion.

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed sessions, or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session and payment.

Payment plan installments already processed are non-refundable.

Client Conduct & Termination

Clients are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and focus. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services at our discretion for:

  • Disruptive or disrespectful behavior

  • Repeated no-shows

  • Misuse of the Services or platform

In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and any outstanding payment obligations remain due.

Intellectual Property

All videos, session content, worksheets, materials, frameworks, methodologies, and proprietary systems provided by Kijima Method are the exclusive intellectual property of Kijima Method and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, share, publish, sell, or repurpose any materials without express written permission. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

No Guarantees

Kijima Method makes no representations or guarantees regarding athletic performance, improvement, playing time, selection, recruitment outcomes, scholarships, contracts, or personal development milestones.

Results vary based on individual effort, circumstances, coaching decisions, environment, and factors outside our control. You are solely responsible for your actions and outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kijima Method, its owner(s), contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or claims arising directly or indirectly from participation in or use of the Services.

This includes, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. You agree to release and hold harmless Kijima Method from all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Privacy & Communications

We respect your privacy and protect personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. However, you acknowledge that digital communications and platforms cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you accept this risk by using the Services.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith mediation.

If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the Commonwealth of Virginia, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any permitted legal proceedings shall take place exclusively in Virginia.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
