This Mentorship Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to all participants, clients, parents, and guardians engaging with Kijima Method (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, enrolling in, or participating in any Kijima Method services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer.

This Disclaimer is incorporated by reference into the Kijima Method Terms of Service.

Nature of Services

Kijima Method provides experience-based mentorship and educational guidance grounded in personal athletic experience. Services may include discussions related to mindset, preparation habits, reflection frameworks, decision-making, discipline, and personal development in a sports context.

Kijima Method does not provide professional, licensed, or regulated services of any kind.

Not Medical, Psychological, or Therapeutic Services

Kijima Method is not a licensed medical provider, mental health professional, therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or healthcare provider.

The Services do not constitute:

  • Medical advice

  • Mental health treatment

  • Psychological counseling

  • Therapy or diagnosis

  • Clinical intervention

Nothing shared through Kijima Method should be interpreted as medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Participants are encouraged to consult licensed professionals for any physical, mental, or emotional health concerns.

No Guarantees or Promises of Results

Kijima Method makes no guarantees or representations regarding outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Athletic performance improvement

  • Playing time or selection

  • Team placement

  • Scholarships or recruitment

  • Professional or collegiate opportunities

  • Personal or mental development outcomes

Results vary widely based on individual effort, circumstances, coaching decisions, environment, and factors beyond Kijima Method’s control.

Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility

Participation in Kijima Method services is voluntary. Participants acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their decisions, actions, behavior, and outcomes.

Kijima Method does not direct, control, or make decisions on behalf of participants and shall not be held responsible for actions taken based on mentorship discussions.

Minors & Parent/Guardian Consent

If the participant is under the age of 18, participation is permitted only with the informed consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By authorizing a minor’s participation, the parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Kijima Method provides educational mentorship only

  • Services are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic

  • Participation is voluntary

  • The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the parent or guardian agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Kijima Method from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from the minor’s participation.

Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that personal development and mentorship involve inherent uncertainty and subjective interpretation. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with applying insights, perspectives, or guidance shared during mentorship sessions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kijima Method, its owner(s), contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to participation in the Services.

You agree that Kijima Method shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, claim, or damages resulting from your participation or reliance on mentorship content.

Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By engaging in Kijima Method services, you confirm that you:

  • Acknowledge the nature and limitations of the Services

  • Agree to participate voluntarily and at your own risk

For minors, acknowledgment by a parent or legal guardian is required.
